Stan Tracey O.B.E. is a giant figure in the jazz world, with a glittering career spanning six decades of flourishing creativity. As a composer, with masterpieces such as 'Under Milk Wood', he will stand alongside some of the all-time greats. Stan's capricious piano playing combines the percussive melody of Monk with the robust lyracism of Ellington. Here the Godfather leads a quintet of some of Britain's best known young Titans.
